The DZL Academy is an important part of the DZL and supports the career development of young scientists working in clinical, translational and fundamentals of scientific lung research. It assists actively engaged physicians in education and research and offers attractive opportunities for young scientists within the DZL. The Academy places a particular emphasis on promoting family-friendly career development and the compatibility of family and research activity.

Academy Fellows benefit from several advantages, including the opportunity to network with over 400 fellows, invitations to exclusive events such as the Academy Reception and Academy Symposia, as well as mentoring by DZL PIs or external experts.
