Microscopy and radiology are in the center of the Platform Imaging. Scientists of the DZL develop new innovative imaging techniques to improve our understanding of initiation and course of lung diseases. One key motif is the use of diagnostic tools that have less adverse effects for patients (e.g. radiation).

In ARCN we are currently working on miniaturization of microscopes for use in diagnostic bronchoscopy.
