The University of Lübeck contributes to the ARCN with its expertise in the imaging field. Researchers from Lübeck work on novel imaging technologies for application in the airways with respect to the areas of asthma & allergy and COPD.
The University closely collaborates with the Lübeck Campus of the University Clinic Schleswig-Holstein (Universitätsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein, UKSH) in order to establish the cooperative Children’s Asthma Registry. Researchers from Lübeck also participate in a clinical study of the DZL on treatment of cystic fibrosis.
