Rabe, ARCN, and Eickelberg, CPC-M, appointed Associate Editors for the “Blue Journal”

Prof. Dr. Klaus Rabe, Director of ARCN and Medical Director of the Lungenclinic Grosshansdorf, and Prof. Dr. Oliver Eickelberg, Director of the CPC-M and Director of the Institute of Lung Biology and Disease at the Helmholtz Zentrum München, were appointed as Associate Editors for the renowned AJRCCM (American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine) beginning of January 2015.

Their main task as Associate Editors is to work with the Editor-in-Chief to help guide the journal in order to attain the highest standing in the field and to coordinate the development of editorial strategy and contingency. Furthermore they are involved in the quality management of the journal and the manuscript peer-review process.

The AJRCCM (“Blue Journal”) focuses on human biology and disease, as well as animal and in vitro studies that contribute to the understanding of pathophysiology and treatment of diseases that affect the respiratory system and critically ill patients. The journal is ranked #1 in Critical Care Medicine and Respiratory System Journals by Web of Science and has a current Impact Factor of 11,99.
