Grand final of „5 years DZL“ in Hamburg – DZL team participates in charity run

The campaign on “5 years DZL”, started in May at the DZL sites Gießen, Munich, Hanover and Heidelberg, was concluded by the site ARCN with events in the framework of a charity run in Hamburg on July 1.

Grand final of the “5 years DZL” campaign on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the northernmost DZL site: ARCN staff at the DZL information desk presented the research association in the framework of the HSH Nordbank Run in Hamburg’s HafenCity. The Run was attended by more than 24.000 participants in more than 800 teams. Within eyeshot of the recently opened Elbphilharmonie concert hall, interested people got the opportunity for a lung function check in the “LuFuMobil”. The results of the tests were interpreted by medical specialists of LungenClinic Grosshansdorf. They also received answers to their questions on lung diseases and ongoing research projects. Moreover, a running team under the lead of Prof. Dr. Klaus Rabe, member of DZL’s Board of Directors and Director of ARCN, participated in the HSH Nordbank Run in favor of the charity campaign “Children help Children”.
