SYNERGIE Magazine #8 published. Title: Clinical Research

The new issue of the DZG magazine SYNERGIE has just been published. The topic of number 8 is Clinical Research.

As in every previous issue, each of the six German Centers for Health Research (DZG) is represented in this latest edition. The DZL contribution “Die Abnahme des Atemvolumens stoppen” deals with clinical testing of the compound pirfenidone to treat lung fibrosis. DZL conducted a clinical study called RELIEF with this drug.

The editorial of this edition is also from DZL: DZL speaker Werner Seeger is this year rotational speaker of all DZGs. He describes the value of clinical research and how we could get better.

Two other articles deal with patient involvement in our research projects as well as the celebration of 10 years German Centers of Health Research.
